Shannon Martin

This is Shannon’s first year at USDAN. She holds an AAS in Apparel Design from Nassau Community College, and a BA (Hons) in Fashion Design Technology from University of the Arts London. Shannon’s body of work can be found wrapped around the human body: often of brides whose gowns she designed and created, or of embroidery designs hand-stitched onto bags, as well as the myriad of alterations she’s done to enhance the look of clothing on the bodies of her clients. Off-season, she’s found helping teachers and high schoolers in a local high school’s special education department. One fun fact is that, despite years in London, the only convincing phrase she can say in a British accent is “What do you want me to say?”
