Join us for a fun afternoon for the entire family at Usdan! Try out some of Usdan's most popular classes, take a tour, and enjoy special performances by select students from Summer 2024. Free and open to all, this event is for current Usdan families as well as new families interested in enrolling in Summer 2025. RSVP required by Wednesday, September 18 to secure a spot! Please note, all students must be accompanied by an adult. No drop-offs permitted. Adults may participate in our tour or Yoga class or enjoy the beautiful, wooded campus. Class Offerings | 2:00 p.m.
Dance | Elevate & Dance (Grades K-2): Experience movement that will get you out of your seats while activating some fun!
Art | Storytelling & Storybooks (Grades 3-5): Listen up! I've got a story to tell! Activate your voice to visualize and express a story.
Rec | Archery (Grades 3-5): Students can learn form and technique from an experienced archery instructor.
Art | Sculpey Clay Creations (Grades 6-8): Using ceramic hand-building methods, we will create creatures, figures, or whatever your imagination dreams up. The polymer clay will then be baked so you can take it home the same day!
Theater | Musical Theater (Grades 6-12): In this engaging musical theater class, students will immerse themselves in dynamic theater games and improvisation exercises to enhance their creativity and collaboration skills. They will also learn and perform a captivating musical theater number, complete with choreography, to develop their stage presence and performance abilities.
Dance | Hip-Hop (Grades 9-12): This is a high energy class focused on fusing multiple street styles of dancing to mold a dynamic dancer. While creating a safe space, this class will allow students to step out of their comfort zone and unlock confidence as a movement artist.
Yoga | Reset to Impress (Family Friendly): We all need to reset to be our best. Join us for yoga, the perfect setting for young yogis to cultivate this age-old practice of movement and mindfulness.
Tour | 2:00 p.m.
Learn all about Usdan from one of our experienced and friendly tour guides during this abbreviated walking tour of Usdan's magnificent campus. On this tour you will see the Theater, Art, and Discovery areas of our campus. Please wear comfortable walking shoes!
Re-U-nion Show | 4:00 p.m.
Select students from Summer 2024 in Dance, Vocal Ensemble, Creative Writing, and Theater will once again take the McKinley Amphitheater stage to share their passion, talent, and creativity with the Usdan community!
