Performance: The Ensemble

Designed for young actors with some experience under their belt, the Ensemble is a three-period Major that allows students additional time to refine their musical and theatrical skills, dive deeper into their roles, and explore new characters. Students participate in the entire process of making live musical theater, from audition to performance. Usdan’s musical theater productions are led by two lead faculty members, one director and one musical director, who are professional theater educators specializing in directing and music directing. Rehearsals take place in open-air studios with at least one side exposed to Usdan’s beautiful, wooded campus. Classes are grouped according to age division and grade.
