WYANDANCH SCHOLARSHIP INITIATIVE

Since 2015, Usdan has partnered with various nonprofits and schools in our local community of Wyandanch, New York to offer ongoing, transformational artistic opportunities to children from Wyandanch. Together with our partners and with a focus on music education, our aim is not only to be the summer provider of the selected child's education for one summer, but to be the provider every summer of the recipient's childhood, following them throughout their school careers. 

Over the years, 32 students from Wyandanch have attended camp on the Wyandanch Scholarship. Through partnerships with nonprofits and schools including the Wyandanch Youth Center, the Long Island Children’s Choir, and Wyandanch Public Schools to offer scholarships to students who are first nominated by their teachers. We align with partners, so we can together develop a comprehensive educational network, offering recipients music education from Pre-K through 12th grade all year, each year.
