USDAN BOLSTERS SENIOR LEADERSHIP TEAM
Usdan recently added a key member of their senior administration team: Andrew Navarette as director of development.
Andrew is a Fundraising and Nonprofit Management expert with a deep appreciation for the Arts and a strategic and effective leader in the New York arts community. He joins Usdan from his work as the lead development officer at Harlem Stage, an organization that supports artists of color in the creation of new work and engages 4,000 schoolchildren in arts education programming. His career includes development roles at other nonprofits including NYU College of Dentistry, American Composers Orchestra and Americorps *VISTA. Andrew has a Masters of Science in Fundraising and Nonprofit Management from Columbia University.
“We’re thrilled to be adding Andrew to the Usdan senior leadership team,” says Lauren Brandt Schloss, executive director, Usdan. “With his proven track record for creative and successful development programs, Andrew will help us raise essential funds to extend and enhance the programs we can offer to the incredible children who walk through Usdan’s gates. He will play a crucial role as we strengthen Usdan’s foundation and lay the groundwork for our 50th anniversary in 2018.”
